The Story of Midas Touch With a Twist

How many people remember the story of Midas? If you don’t here it is in a nutshell. So there was a king named Midas who loved gold so much he wished everything he touched would turn to gold. One day a greek god had granted him the wish so when he touched an apple it turned to solid gold. He was so happy until he touched his daughter to whom he loved very much and she turned into a gold statue. He felt devastated for what he had done to her and wanted his gift to be gone.

Now what is awesome about creative writing is we can always change the story just like in our lives. What if his gift that he was given was not to turn everything into a gold statue but into a golden light? So whoever or whatever he touched ended up with a heart of gold because he was able to guide them on a better path than the one that they were on that they were not happy with.

Our stories that we have been told in the past seemed to put shame and guilt into us so that when we look at money or wealth then it has all been given a bad light but money has a purpose if money is going to be in our lives. Money is a tool and an energy exchange, not something horrible that we have done to each other. Money is not the issue, it’s the programming…
